Chloe Magee into last 16 of Swiss open Grand Prix

13/04/2015

Chloe had little time to be disappointed as she was soon to be back on court to face Delphine Lansac of France. This match up was not looking good for Magee as Lansac took the opening game and was leading 17-14 in the second. At this point of the match Magee started to find her way and as Lansac’s fitness started to dip, Magee powered through to take the match to a deciding game. In the final game Magee stepped up a gear and took the match winning the decider in single figures to book a last 16 spot.Joshua Magee was the next of the Irish on court against Denmark’s Emil Holst. Joshua fought hard in the opening game but Holst’s experience came through. In the second game Emil took an early lead that Magee could not get back as the Dane progressed to the last 16 of the tournament.Joshua will be back in action later in the day with his brother Sam as they take on Kenta Kazuno and Kazushi Yamada of Japan at 20:10 Irish time
